A 21-year-old man, Abdullahi Mohammed and his brother, Abdullahi Abubakar, were on Friday arraigned before a Karmo Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja for allegedly possessing a stolen cell phone. The defendants, who reside at Ereke Junction Karmo, Abuja, were standing trial on a two-count charge of conspiracy and being in possession of stolen property. Ukagha informed the court that on the same date at 2:30 a.m., the of vigilance group in Agwan Hausa Karmo, Abuja, arrested Mohammed and brought him to the station. She alleged that Mohammed was caught in possession of one Techno WX 3 mobile phone suspected to be stolen. The trial judge, Alhaji Inuwa Maiwada, granted bail of N50,000 to the defendants each with a surety in like sum.
