Cops arrested the guard, Rameshwar Singh, 46, after rescuing him from a mob that had gathered in the school and started assaulting him. Many in the mob accused the guard of harassing pre-primary students of the school. When the school authorities told them that there was no written complaint against Singh, they apparently started thrashing the guard. The headmistress of the school said she joined in December 2015 and didn't find any complaint in the school records against Singh. "Ours is a government-run school; so, we have reported the matter to the school education department."
